El Pipila is led by a trio of women run and operated by Mother Guadalupe Guerrero and her two daughters Brenda & Alejandra. We are an established food vendor, based in the Bay serving authentic artisanal cuisine. Our dishes are created from traditional recipes passed from generation to generation, adding the original taste of Guanajuato, the heart of Mexico!

What makes our restaurant different is the amount, consideration, and attention to each part of what goes into a great smoked meat or recipe. We pride ourselves on using only fresh, local ingredients and the finest brisket, pork, ribs, and chicken available. Everything is made from scratch including the buns, rubs, pickles, sausage, and sauces. Each sauce is created to represent a region from the South: Memphis Style, Mustard Sauce from South Carolina, Dip from North Carolina, Alabama White Sauce, or our very own hot sauce.

Ghezal Raouf has always had a passion for good ideas and good food. When she realized the limited selection of flavors in the food cart industry, she blended her rich cultural flavors of Afghanistan, kabobs, with a traditional American twist, cheesesteaks. With her business savvy background, Ghezal brought to life this innovative and novel infusion of her dynamic culture and cuisine.

Poke a Go Go came to be when Dan and Juni Walsh realized that is was near impossible to find good Poke bowls anywhere in Marin County. We have always loved cooking and entertaining, so we decided to make it happen ourselves and started bringing fresh Poke bowls and other healthy meals to Marin and throughout the Bay area through Pop Up restaurants at breweries, wineries, music festivals, and the Presidio Tunnel Tops every week.

Poke a Go Go has really evolved over the past year, and now we have expanded into catering and event planning, and we don’t just serve Poke. We offer so many different types of menus.
